Agora Tutoring - SaaS Terms of Service & Privacy Policy Review
Our company operates a Software as a Service (SaaS) web application that is accessed daily by users. To safeguard our operations legally, we require every user to agree to our Terms of Service (ToS) and Privacy Policy (PP) before using our product. We are seeking to collaborate with students to evaluate our current product and its associated ToS to ensure they are comprehensive and up-to-date with the latest legal requirements, policy changes, and potential business threats. This collaboration will include: Conducting thorough research on our existing product and the ToS provided to our users. Investigating recent laws and policies relevant to our industry and how they might impact our business. Creating an updated version of our ToS & PP, explaining the rationale for changes and identifying any previously overlooked aspects. Assessing and suggesting updates to our related legal documents, such as the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy. Evaluating our current user registration processes to ensure that terms are being effectively communicated. Advising on necessary corporate insurance coverages to align with our business practices. Develop a refund policy
Agora Tutoring - Website Update - Social OAuth Integration
Executive Summary: Agora Tutoring is an online marketplace akin to Kijiji, equipped with a map function similar to Uber, specializing in connecting students with local tutors for in-person educational sessions. Project Goal: The primary goal of this project is to integrate OAuth-based user authentication with Facebook and Google into the Agora Tutoring platform. By incorporating these widely used authentication methods, the project aims to streamline the login process for users, thereby enhancing user accessibility and improving security measures. Problem Statement: Currently, users of the Agora Tutoring platform must go through a traditional account creation process that requires them to manually enter personal details to register. This method can be time-consuming and poses a barrier to quick access. Moreover, managing separate usernames and passwords for multiple platforms can discourage potential users due to the inconvenience and increased risk of security breaches.
