Learner goals and capabilities

This course is an introductory business law course in which students will learn and apply legal concepts important in business.

This includes learning about the legal aspects of relationships which are formed while business is conducted, including the formation of contracts, law of torts, consumer protection, employee relations, and dealings with partners and shareholders. Other important aspects which affect businesses, including real property, intellectual property, the form of the business, and creditors' remedies, are also discussed.

Companies who require support/research surrounding how legislation affects their organization would be best suited for our students.
