Despite the value of these skills, FIA faces challenges as many women perceive these tools as being for those who feel weak or pitiful. To overcome this perception, FIA is seeking to establish a cool, modern, and aspirational brand identity that positions its offerings as essential for savvy and independent women. This project invites talented Art + Design students to create a cohesive and striking visual identity for FIA, incorporating futuristic and stylish design elements that convey strength, empowerment, and sophistication. Additionally, students will develop visually compelling materials, such as posters and social media graphics, to effectively communicate FIA’s research on coercive control in professional and public settings. By avoiding a traditional nonprofit look, the new brand should inspire women to embrace these critical skills with confidence and pride.
