The Agency Calculator, developed by the Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA), is a groundbreaking tool inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Just as the SDGs provide a framework for coordinating global progress in sustainability, the Agency Calculator aims to create a shared system for identifying and addressing women’s empowerment needs. By assessing individuals across 20 key dimensions—such as critical thinking, financial autonomy, and emotional resilience—the tool helps connect women to the organizations, programs, and resources that can best fulfill their unique needs.

This project invites students to design the AI backbone of the Agency Calculator. The intelligent agent will guide users through a personalized assessment, using adaptive questioning, probabilistic reasoning, and logic-based systems to evaluate their strengths and areas for growth. Based on the results, the agent will recommend targeted interventions, providing individuals with actionable insights while enabling organizations to offer tailored support. This system will allow women’s organizations to align their efforts, ensuring the right resources reach the right people at the right time.

By participating in this project, students will apply their AI skills to build an intelligent agent capable of addressing real-world challenges.
