This initiative works with KARA to grow volunteer and community resources for child advocacy nonprofits KARA is engaged with. Students will work on projects based on their skills sets and learning desire.
The goal is to provide KARA and its nonprofit cohorts with increased volunteer work force and foster stronger community ties.
Project deliverables include a completed task log for different assigned tasks and projects.
Helping volunteers grow their technical, communication, and management skill sets and provide measurable support to child advocacy nonprofit organizations.
Providing specialized knowledge in the project subject area, with industry context.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
