The primary objective of this project is to generate early user sign-ups and engagement for the Amicare app through direct outreach in digital communities.
Tasks and Activities:
- Identify and vet 30+ high-potential online communities (e.g., Facebook groups, local forums) with active audiences aligned with Amicare’s target users.
- Craft tailored outreach messages and value propositions for different audience segments (e.g., caregivers, seniors’ family members).
- Post and engage in selected communities to generate interest, answer questions, and drive traffic to the app.
- Track interactions, responses, and conversions from each channel to identify the most effective acquisition strategies.
Deliverables:
- A vetted list of online communities with estimated reach and engagement strategy per group.
- 3–5 tested outreach message templates with performance data.
- Weekly progress reports summarizing activities, user engagement, and number of sign-ups generated per channel.
- A final acquisition performance report detailing conversion metrics, top-performing channels, and strategic recommendations for scaling grassroots outreach.
Students are expected to execute and optimize a grassroots user acquisition campaign for the Amicare app. This includes identifying online communities, crafting outreach strategies, and directly engaging with potential users to drive measurable sign-ups and app usage.
Exact Tasks and Deliverables:
- Community Prospecting Report: A curated list of 30+ relevant Facebook groups and digital communities with notes on audience size, relevance, and posting guidelines.
- Outreach Content Pack: 3–5 custom outreach message templates optimized for different audience segments.
- Engagement Activity Log: A running document or dashboard tracking daily outreach efforts, group interactions, and user responses.
- Weekly Impact Reports: Summaries of outreach activities, estimated reach, user engagement, referrals and number of sign-ups or actions driven from each channel.
- Final Performance Report: A comprehensive analysis outlining total conversions, top-performing strategies, lessons learned, and recommendations for scaling user acquisition.
