Researcher

We want a student to assist in conducting an environmental scan on advocacy work being conducted within Canada and abroad within the field of career development. A secondary focus will also be on identifying key benefits of career development work and the positive impact it has on the social and economic wellbeing of individuals and the Manitoba and Canadian economy.

Duties include:

• Conducting an environmental scan to determine work being conducted in other jurisdictions.
• Conduct a literature review on the social and economic benefits of career development
• Create a summary of findings and record sources
• Identify potential contacts within various jurisdictions

The student will be supervised by a working committee. They will receive guidance and work with the committee to career out research specific to the field of career development.
