Details

Resilient Hearts is a for-profit social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. To ensure long-term financial sustainability and program expansion, the organization seeks to identify and secure funding opportunities including grants, wage subsidies, and training supports applicable to for-profit social enterprises. This project will focus on mapping potential sources of financial support, especially those targeting the hiring of students, upskilling of staff, and expansion of social impact programs.

Identify and evaluate relevant grants, subsidies, and funding programs for:

  • Hiring post-secondary students and youth or recent graduates
  • Training/upskilling employees
  • Supporting operational growth and program expansion

Assess eligibility criteria, timelines, and application processes for each funding source.

Create a prioritized list of actionable funding opportunities for short-term and long-term financial planning.
