Multi-Energy Haptics Project

Project Description : We're looking for people at the intersection of music, coding, hardware and/or 3d printing/materials for some proof of concepts with a multi-energy haptic development kit. If you have experience with two or three of the above (individually or as a team) we'd love to hear from you. Think of this as an extended hackathon style project where you bring your expertise and experience of what you want to accomplish and we'll provide the hardware and support. Main Goal : We'll be using a hardware development kit that outputs vibration, thermal (Hot and cold) and light to the skin in customizable wearable forms. Each outputter also had sensors (temp, Accel, Gyro) that can be used for interaction and data collection. You can interact with code (C#, Python, Unity, GoDot) or through typical music/sound tools like DAWs, MIDI, OSC. There's also the possibility to tie in with our SDK and your own project. We're looking for great demonstrations of what is possible in a short time meaning that creativity and excitement to the project is key. There's the ability to tie into music, video, games, data reactive closed loop feedback devices, etc. We will provide one kit for the team to use. Data Analysis

We're a sports tech performance company and we'd like students to help analyze our datasets and pipeline to generate useful insights from the data we collect. From this analysis, we hope to visualize data collected from hardware to test reliability/validity by taking raw data to display in a real-world viewpoint We are working with temporal-spatial data that will be given to the students at various stages of our analysis and they will work with a top level data scientist/analyst (PhD) to: - Use various mathematical and statistical methods to transform data - Use tools/visualizations to view data. Student(s) must have the ability to code in python, MATLAB, and/or react. Please apply/contact for more information.

Sport Product Software/Hardware Testing

Our company has an existing software product and a hardware product in development, and part of any good product is continual testing. We would like you to test and give detailed feedback of our soccer training product. This requires knowledge and capability as a soccer player. This will involve: Utilizing our phone application on your own to test it in various outdoor environments to give feedback on lighting, visibility, battery usage, etc. Being part of our on-field testing for the hardware product. This will happen 2-3 times for 1.5 hours per session. Once again, detailed feedback will be required afterwards including outcomes, issues, how it differs from normal training without the technology, improvements and benefits Recording and giving detailed feedback on the product from a user perspective. We want to know how you benefit as a user by continually using this product. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Assisting in developing content and marketing copy and materials.
