Digital Content Creation - TikTok Reels - Winter 2023

Number of individual students required: 6-8 students OR Number of students required to work in teams: 6 teams of 1 student or 3 teams of 2 -3 students OBJECTIVE: As a part of our social media marketing initiatives with TikTok and Reels (Instagram), we’re looking for students to take on video-creating, shooting and editing for this initiative. The aim is to complete around 10-20 quality and polished videos with the guidance of our project lead for our platforms. FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES: At least 5 videos per student or 10 videos per team that have gone through video editing and approved TO SUCCEED AT THIS PROJECT, THE STUDENT WOULD NEED: An ability to pick up on new technology quickly (growth mindset) Strongly preferred if you have a previous experience or training with video shooting; but happy to train the right candidate. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

Website Design and Development

Positions available: Individual students: 4 OR 2 teams of 1-2 students Our organization needs some web design help! We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better experience for our brand. This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. We would like students to help improve our websites. The structure and roughly 80% of the page templates have been built. We are looking for students who have experience in Shopify or other similar site to design and complete the new webpage.

Ideal candidates should be prepared to: Testing and improving the design of the existing retail website with Shopify; Preparing design plans for a new Plantish Care website and presenting the website structure; Communicating design ideas using user flows; Incorporating functionalities and features into websites such as a live demo of numbers of sales; Designing sample pages with proper colours pattern and fonts;
