Are you a passionate and driven student eager to learn about sales and use your communication and prospecting skills to connect with schools and daycares this summer? TUIO, a leading provider of school management software, is looking for a Sales Development Representative Intern (SDR Intern) to join our team.

At TUIO, we simplify life for administrators by boosting enrollment, managing billing and financial reporting, student information, donations, communications, and more for schools and daycares.

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a passionate and dynamic intern to join our growing tech sales team. As an SDR Intern, you will contribute to driving our company’s growth by gaining hands-on experience in generating and qualifying leads and supporting outbound sales activities.



Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently exceed 75+ outbound dials daily
  • Work with cold/warm leads in our CRM, managing prospective clients' time efficiently
  • Identify and qualify leads to ensure only the highest potential leads reach our Account Executive
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients, understand their needs and pain points, handle objections, and overcome barriers to scheduling appointments
  • Report sales pipeline data accurately in HubSpot

  • Transition qualified leads from your pipeline to an Account Executive’s pipeline
  • Be results-focused and driven
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Analyze current workflows and develop process improvements
  • Use prospecting tools and social platforms to target new prospects

Must-Haves:

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • A strategic and contextual thinker who can manage competing priorities
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Coachable with active listening skills

Interview Process:

  1. Phone screening for successful candidates
  2. 15-30 min Zoom call with the Account Executive you will work with
  3. 30-60 min virtual interview with the Account Executive and Sales Manager, including roleplaying/situational scenarios
  4. Final 30 min interview with the sales team and HR
  5. Decision communicated, and if successful, an offer is extended
  6. Background checks
