Business Consulting Project
ORGA 410
Is your organization seeking some extra support to solve an ongoing business-related challenge? If so, we have 3rd and 4th year business students that are seeking opportunities to help you in the form of a for-credit Business Consulting Project. This course is an undergraduate Organizational Management course on Business Consulting and is composed of students from all streams of business (i.e., human resources, marketing, finance, etc.) looking to put those business skills to good use! Please note: We will be accepting twice as many project applications as there are student teams. Students will choose which projects they want to work with that fill their own specific skill sets during the first week of classes in September.

Organizational Behaviour & Assessment
ORGA 316
We are currently looking for partners in the community to partner with our Organizational Management course: Contemporary Organizational Behaviour and Theory. Students will look at how individuals are shaped and actively shape their organizational environment, and the effect of this dynamic for an organization’s success. Students will be reaching out to you to interview you about your organization the first week of October. Attendance at virtual presentations associated with the particular course on either October 30th or November 1st. Your feedback at this presentation will help the students complete their final recommendation report, which you will receive.

International expansion analysis
1. Identify current trends in various regional centres with particular attention to the implications from a Canadian perspective. 2. Identify the relevant elements to be included in a ‘region profile’ and develop one for a specific region. 3. Analyze institutional and business dynamics as well as trends and practices within a particular region. 4. Discuss the main drivers behind firm strategies and operations within and across regions. 5. Research, collect, organize, and analyze data on a specific topic. 6. Prepare and present conceptual (theory) and empirical (data) briefings on a particular region or phenomenon.

New Venture Financing
Is your organization seeking some extra support discover how viable your new business idea or department is and what are your financing options? If so, we have 4th year business students that are seeking opportunities to help you in the form of a financial business plan (forecasting). In this course students learn how to identify business opportunities, how to value business proposals with an emphasis on venture capital and to estimate financial needs.
