Working with Asfia at College of the North has been an immensely enriching experience, one that has broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for Indigenous knowledge and culture. Collaborating with Asfia has not only allowed me to contribute my expertise, but has also provided me with rich insights into traditional ways of knowing and learning in her community. She brings forward her commitment to community and sustainability inherent in Indigenous teachings which continues to inspire me to approach my work with a greater sense of responsibility and interconnectedness.
