Assistant to Production Company Co-founder

Founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Joan Pla and Nelly Castillo, VENDETTA is a full-service creative production house. We are a LatinX, immigrant, and certified woman-of-color founded company. VENDETTA’s Co-founders have mentored underprivileged youth through EVOLVE, a public-private partnership founded by Ava DuVernay and the City of Los Angeles that would fund 150 internships for women, people of color and those from low-income households. Our ethos is to be an advocate for talent, equality, and diversity. We have worked with brands and companies such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros Music, Sony Music, Universal Music, El Rey Networks, Netflix, Hola! US, Elle Magazine, Cosmopolitan and prominent personalities like Lebron James, Anthony Davis, Eugenio Derbez, Eva Longoria, Zoe Saldaña, Rita Moreno, Carrie Underwood and many others. We are looking to add an Executive Assistant to the COO to help support our quickly growing company. The ideal Executive Assistant will be working hand in hand with the Co-founder on a daily basis. It will be an extremely valuable experience for anyone who is interested in the Entertainment and Advertising industry. Our Exec. assistant will be experienced in handling a wide range of Executive support and related tasks and be highly independent and an excellent multitasker with impeccable attention to detail. The position requires someone with strong attention to detail, good organization, and critical thinking skills. The person in the role must be able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion. Please be mindful there will be a Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality agreement due to the nature of our projects and clients. They will be provided after the interview, if selected. Responsibilities and Duties Proactively manage and maintain Co-founder's schedule and workload, including appointment scheduling for all appointments, meetings, conferences, teleconferences Coordinates all travel arrangements Plan and organize company events Assist Co-founder in meeting preparation, scheduling, and rescheduling management as needed Records minutes of meetings and stands in for Co-founder when needed. Daily email organization/management Agenda & calendar management Assist in day-to-day office tasks as needed Provide general administrative support tasks may also include writing coverage on scripts, drafting letters, making phone calls, running an office, interviewing personnel, coordinating the fundraising process, assisting with duties on and off set, liaising between the Co-founder and teams, and helping to prepare publicity materials. Operational Business Plan (4th year commercial beekeeping business)

Established in 2019 in Revelstoke BC, BeeKind Honey Bees operated with 80 hives until April 2021. In April 2021, BeeKind Honey Bees purchased an existing reputable 100 colony beekeeping operation in Armstrong BC (1.5hrs from Revelstoke). Now operating at 250+ colonies our focus is diverse between, bee stock sales (Nucleus colonies and Mated queens) in the spring, beekeeping education opportunities for youth and adults spring and summer, and raw honey production harvested in the fall. We operate mostly through our ecommerce website www.beekindhoneybees.ca and social media. We have invested in developing a basic operational business plan through an online platform called https://www.liveplan.com that is integrated with our QuickBooks Online account providing real time financial data. Now that we are in our fourth year of operation, and have defined our operational scope and business model, we would like to update our business plan to a point where it can attract small business lending, business support, grant opportunities, and potential investment. We're open to extending collaborative access to our LivePlan account to have it finalized there (ideally) or cutting and pasting a formal business plan in your preferred format into our LivePlan account. The purchase of this business would require financing, and a suitable business plan to go represent our operations. We currently have not started a formal Marketing Plan, however are applying to Riipen for this as our second project. We're open to a shared collaboration between the two plans for the greatest consistency and optimized effort.
