Mock Interviewer Fall 2023
Positions available: One team of four students This team will work together to create the following reports and conduct valuable interview preparation for TRU Students. The project may include, but is not limited to: Review and update Mock Interview Guide for various industries (HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, International Business, Accounting, Finance, Computing Science, Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Social Work, Teaching and Tourism) The guide will include a job description and Interview questions. This team will aim to conduct 200 Mock Interviews on campus for TRU students; each Mock Interview session will be 1 hour long and include 30 minutes for documentation and feedback. The mock interviewers will use a feedback tool provided internally by the TRU-CEL Department. The final project deliverable is one report and the completion of 200 Mock Interviews on campus. These reports will provide valuable documentation for Co-op Coordinators and valuable feedback and training for TRU Students.

Market Demand for African Cuisine in Small Urban Canadian Cities: A Case Study of Kamloops
Goal: To explore whether there is sufficient demand and interest in African (Nigerian) cuisine in Kamloops, BC, and to understand the factors that influence local consumer behavior toward ethnic food. Main objective Assess public awareness and interest in African/Nigerian food. Measure willingness to try and pay for African meals. Identify preferred meal formats (dine-in, takeout, delivery). Understand consumer concerns or barriers. Provide recommendations for launching a Nigerian restaurant in Kamloops.
