Oceanic Impact aims to enhance public awareness and education about ocean ecosystems by developing an online ocean education database. The goal is to help develop an online database that contains various educational resources, such as articles, videos, and interactive tools, lesson plans, funding opportunities, etc. to facilitate the learning and teaching of marine life and conservation efforts. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of database management [and optional: web development and user experience design]. The team will focus on creating a cohesive and accessible digital resource that can be easily navigated by educators (primarily audience) and potentially parents and students (secondary audience).
